This is the 2nd book in this series, and it's even better than the first. I remember comparing the first to AD&D, and this still is extremely reminiscent of the game. It also reminds me of Lord of the Rings. It's resplendent with myth and dwarves and elves! I love these creatures and their different mythical worlds and lives, and i love seeing how each author finds ways to bring them to life. In the first book, we encountered men, and i suspect the next we will again, but not so much here. Which was just fine... the dwarves and elves were fantastic and amazing! I truly enjoyed this book, read it in just a couple if sittings, and highly recommend it as must-read material for all fantasy lovers!!I received this book at no charge and have voluntarily and happily reviewed it. Opinions expressed above are mine and not influenced by the gifting of the book or any other outside situations or concerns.

Conspiracy The Fourth Age Shadow Wars Book 2 eBook David N Pauly Reviews
I liked the way the story was tied to the separate caricatures and did keep the readers intreat to read what would be happening next.
I gave it 5 stars even tho at times the story drags without enough imagery or action to hold my interest, and just when I think the plot has skinnied out—-boom—-I’m sucked back in. It truly is a good read... ready for book 3
Great fantasy
Can't wait to read more. This is a story once started will keep you involved and interested. So surprising and different. Loved every minute and Not to be missed.
Too short, just when it was going somewhere it taperred off and dropped. What happened? The book could have been twice as long...I looked at the length of the 3rd book. It's so short that there is no way all of these stories can be fully finished so quickly. It's like a TV show that cuts off half way through a season. I'm disappointed in the cost of such a short book as well, I won't be continuing.
Being part 2 of the trilogy Shadow Wars, this book did not disappoint. The plot gets deeper and more complex as is reflective of the characters themselves. Many questions remain as to how the plot will unfold and hopefully they will be revealed in part 3. I enjoyed the pacing and attention to detail while all being delivered in a short book. There is no fluff or needles verbiage to weight it down. I recommend reading this book and look forward to the third.
